Alright so now that we know about a couple of things including the idea that white tigers are in fact a lot more like humans than expected I have been looking into different NGO's regarding which of them would fit this quota best. After digging a while I found that there is specifically a WWF branch (World Wide Fund for Nature) in India which is perfect considering that like in South Africa where we have a problem with poaching, they seem to be having that same problem with their wildlife and particularly their tigers. Now I've decided to not concentrate on any one particular species of tiger as this would not be something that strays from the fact that these animals need to be protected. First and foremost lets talk about the message we want to tell people and think about what we want them to feel as well as what we want them to do because this is the driving element. Without this element the article or long copy ad is rendered useless because we need people to do something or want to do something, so that we can get them motivated to making a change.
Messages:
Lets talk about that.
- You wouldn't abandon your child, a tiger is just like a human. It will not abandon it's children
- Tigers are just like people, why are we hunting them
- Tigers are just as intelligent as people why are we killing intelligent life?
- Is Boner medication worth the life of a beautiful creature
- Where have all the tigers gone?
- Do you want your children to grow up knowing you killed me?
- Am I not worth a second look?
- do I deserve this
- I need this fur like you need your skin.
- you came and you took my home!
- Can you fight me without that rifle?
- Can't we share this place?
- There is enough earth here for the two of us.
- Soon there will be none of me left to fight for.
- Helping a little goes a long way
Alright Class so I'm guessing you are picking up on the idea here. You need to be listing as many messages you can think of. These are ideas that need to be put down on paper and made permanent so that in case you run away with one idea and fail there are enough ideas to come back to. This may seem tedious but there are many flaws in every idea and not only that but there is always a better idea!!!
